"...as you all know, we are presently faced with several critical situations that call for our prayers and action. The U.S. and England have once again resorted to military force to solve a political dispute, and the House of Representatives are ready to vote to Impeach President Clinton. As people of faith we do not claim to know the solution to these situations, and together we must resolutely hold to the ideals of compassion and peace as the means through which they can be solved. We are called to be instruments of peace, and that begins by creating peace in our own lives and in our own relationships.
Therefore, Gregg, Doreen and I invite you to participate in two world wide peace events: A live broadcast on worldpuja.org this Sunday at 3pm eastern time, and "A Day of Compassion" on Monday.
