Northcentral Maltese Rescue, Inc.
It is the mission of Northcentral Maltese Rescue, Inc. to rescue unwanted, abandoned or stray Maltese dogs, to alleviate their pain and suffering by providing medical care while in a protected foster home environment and to find them a loving, safe and permanent home where they can live out their lives in the comfort of secure surroundings. All dogs will be spayed or neutered before placement. Northcentral Maltese Rescue, Inc. will extend a helping hand to any shelter or rescue organization that requests our assistance.
Function: Northcentral Maltese Rescue, Inc. shall primarily provide rescue services and aid to Maltese in need in the United States and Canada. It shall help other Maltese rescue organizations nationwide with information about and assistance in rescuing and placing dogs.
Purpose: The purposes of Northcentral Maltese Rescue, Inc. shall be:
- To locate unwanted, abandoned or stray Maltese and take possession or ownership of said dogs;
- To treat any illness, injury or disease, and spay or neuter prior to the dogÕs placement;
- To provide the dogs with a safe environment until such time they are permanently adopted and placed in a new home.
- To provide information and resources to other rescue and shelter organizations or societies;
- To inform and educate the public about responsible companion dog ownership;
- To carry on the mission and any other business in connection with the foregoing;
- To have and exercise all of the powers conferred on nonprofit organizations by the State of Wisconsin.
