Alligator Bayou
Alligator Bayou Tours &
Bluff Swamp Wildlife Refuge

Alligator Bayou Tours and Bluff Swamp Wildlife Refuge need the world's support in their battle to save an ancient cypress-tupelo wetlands just southeast of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The 13,000-acre Spanish Lake Basin was once a magnificent ecosystem of lakes, bayous and cypress-tupelo swamps teeming with fish, alligators and birds. In April 2009, the illegal and immoral drainage of water by politicians allied with rich corporate mitigation banks devastated the ecosystem, killed thousands of animals, and destroyed an internationally acclaimed eco-swamp tour that educated school children and funded basin restoration through the non-profit Bluff Swamp Wildlife Refuge.

This ecological disaster worsens each day, with the ongoing death of animals and loss of critical habitat for migrating birds. You can help by standing up with environmentalists for what matters in life: the Light of God, reflected in the beauty and majesty of nature.
