Dr. Sam Menahem is an author, psychotherapist, and the current president of the Association for Spirituality and Psychotherapy. He holds a Masters degree from Columbia University and a Ph.D. from United States International University. He was trained in traditional hypnosis and also Ericksonian hypnotherapy. Dr. Menahem is on the faculty of Columbia University, where he teaches a course in non-traditional psychology. He is a self-described Marxist -- of the Groucho variety -- and appreciates the value of laughter and play. His latest book is called
