From Nightmare to Daybreak: Undoing the Imperial Presidency and Forming a More Perfect Union
 
Those who rightfully voted to cast the Republicans out of office in hopes for "political climate change" have come to the sad realization that although the empire has a new face it still -- to be blunt -- has the same big fat ass. At a time when democracy has become a "mockracy," and government of the people seems to be a sad anachronism, this week's guest offers a careful analysis of how we got to where we are, and the practical steps to create government of, by and for the people where the government does our bidding, not the bidding of the highest bidder.
 
David Swanson is a noted political activist and co-founder of the award-winning website AfterDowningStreet.org. He is also creator of ProsecuteBushCheney.org and Washington Director of Democrats.com, a board member of Progressive Democrats of America, the Backbone Campaign, Voters for Peace, and the Liberty Tree Foundation for the Democratic Revolution.
