The West Meets Africa
Amandine Ongotha Russell was born and raised in Gabon, in Africa and spent most
of her adult life living in the West. She had an extremely fruitful life as from
an acclaimed photographer travelling all over the world to a gerontologist,
social worker and spiritualist. Amandine spend much time in India on a spiritual
quest participating at one time in a "month of silence". She taught Yoga in
Africa, and has lived in my places with her diplomatic husband and two children.
Amandine will speak to us of her life in Africa, the Middle East, the West
and her experiences as a woman living in these varying cultures.
