Rainbows and Mirrors: the Joyful Healing Power of Color

Have you ever wondered why the old Bible story has a rainbow as the "eternal covenant", the promise of an everlasting link with the Source that creates and sustains us? Can we, like Dorothy, take a rainbow ride to Oz, a return journey to a state of happiness and love and authentic power, where we know ourselves as the all-creative beings of light that we truly are? We can, for somewhere, buried deep in our cellular memory, is the knowledge that color is a bridge between all kinds of things: our conscious and unconscious minds, our shadow and our light, our humanity and our divinity. When we meet the colors we are drawn to, with an open heart and a receptive mind, what we meet is a reflection of ourselves.

This is why Melissie Jolly, a psychologist working at the southern tip of the African continent, has called her beautiful healing system Colour Mirrors. But there is more in mirrors even than this: in truth, everyone and everything in your life mirrors some aspect of yourself. The joy of color is it decodes what has been hidden, giving you back the parts of yourself you have unwittingly given away. Join Pippa and Melissie, and learn what the magical and friendly energies of color have to offer you in your path to fulfilment and joy. Melissie's website: www.colourmirrors.com

Melissie Jolly bio:
I was born in Kenya during an African uprising and often felt as if it never stopped. As a psychic and a sensitive, life was a series of uprisings until I discovered the healing power of colour.

I spent my life trying to work out what it was I was meant to be doing and went from studying psychology to art, frustrating myself around every corner until the colours burst into my reality. Sadly it took me to the age of 42 before I knew what I was going to do when I grew up. But at that point everything suddenly made sense and all my studies could be utilised under the umbrella of colour. Now living at the southern most part of Africa, my life is peaceful, joyous and abundant and very very colourful.

I live in Stanford, near Hermanus, where the Southern Right whales come to birth their babies every September and I look at the mountains, which being a colour therapist, I turn pink every evening at sunset and I make the colours you see in the Colour Mirrors bottles. I energise them with African sunshine and love to mirror the magnificence of you.
