Women on the World Stage in Broadcasting
Norma Quarles has been recognized for the role that she has played in getting women on the world stage in broadcasting. She has extensive experience and has received many awards including an Emmy. She is in the Hall of Fame for the National Association of Black Journalists.
In this dynamic show, we will be talking about her life's work on how she has been able to get women to play a more significant part in television broadcasting. She will also speak about being not only woman in this male dominated arena, but as a black woman determined to break the barriers of discrimination.
