Dissolving the Cords that Bind
 
We need to love and be loved, right? We are human beings and we need to be close to one another. But look -- we're thinking on love, we're only two short sentences into the thoughts, and the word 'need' has come up twice already! This is where it gets tricky: even while we love our partners, our families, our friends, we get hooked into each other, tie each other up -- and we don't even know it. We really want to support one another and we finish up anxious, or sad, or slipping into control. Somewhere along the road of deep care, we often find ourselves draining the very people we most wish to encourage and empower.
