Log-In Problems / Web Browser Cookie Info

If you have difficulty logging in to our web site, your web browser cookie settings may need to be adjusted. Most membership-based web sites store information in a small text file, called a "cookie", in your web browser. Newer versions of some browsers are defaulted not to accept cookies.

If you are using a computer at work, or are behind a company firewall, it is possible that you may not be permitted to change these settings. Additionally, you may have installed a third party program (usually a firewall or antivirus program) that overrides your web browser's cookie handling settings. Please disable the program or verify that you have changed your cookie handling settings within this program as well.

  • The "Keep Until:" pull-down menu can be selected with your preference. (We recommend keeping cookies "until they expire" or "until I close Firefox". If you set it to "ask me every time" then you will get a window asking you about each cookie, which you must Accept in order to work -- if you Deny the window then the cookies won't work.)
