or medicine man. This was the person who walked into the invisible world to
get information, guidance and healing for members of the tribe. We are
entering a new period in our history in which vision and hope are essential
to advance our global communities. Edgewalkers are at the forefront of this
new frontier, serving a similar function, interpreting trends from the
marketplace, translating messages across departments, communities,
governments, and envisioning the future impact of today's decisions and
actions. "Edgewalking" doesn't come without its own risks and challenges;
these unconventional people often clash with more traditional, rule-bound
colleagues, and they are often frustrated by organizational systems that
emphasize quantitative results over creative impulses. And yet in today's
fast-changing, globalized business environment and planetary shifts, these
individuals and leaders must be recruited, cultivated and supported to
assist in navigating, leading and teaching in these times of rapid change
and global shifts.

Biography
Patricia Varley, M.H.S.A. is an International Speaker, Trainer, Retreat and Workshop Facilitator, Author, Business & Personal Coach who focuses on integrating professional, personal and spiritual growth. She has successfully worked for the past 18 + years with entrepreneurs, business owners, companies and national organizations across industry lines in "Reinventing Success from the Inside Out" by "Reclaiming the Wholeness of People." This approach opens new paths to fresh ideas, clarity of thinking, accessing their full potential and ultimately enduring achievement. Her areas of expertise include Marketing, Sales and Networking, Leadership Mastery, Navigating Through Transition and Work/Life Balance. Her strong leadership, coaching and communication skills in combination with her entrepreneurial spirit helped her develop an international sales and network marketing organization of 1000 distributors.

She is one of 3 women who created Life Divas, Inc. an organization featuring programs focused on women supporting women. They also present nationally the one act play "LIFE-DIVAS: A WOMAN'S JOURNEY". In 2000, Patricia Founded and Hosted the Naples, FL Chapter of Women of Vision & Action (WOVA) for 5 years. In 2005/2006 she hosted the interview talk-show Southwest Florida cable TV program "Spiritually Speaking" focusing on integrating spirituality in everyday life.

John Renesch has been walking edges since his late teens. First it was in business, starting multiple enterprises that pushed the limits of convention. He has owned and operated an advertising agency, co-founded and served as CEO of a real estate investment company, ran two NASD securities firms and, until 1997, was part owner of a specialty book publishing house.

Drawing on her 25 years as a human relations professional and business
consultant, In 1992 at the United Nations, Virginia Swain created and
introduced a unique public engagement process, the Peacebuilding Process of
Reconciliation to Develop Political Will. in 1992. The process combines
mediation, counseling, mentoring, community-building, cross-cultural
conflict management, human rights and international relations education. The
Peacebuilding Process of Reconciliation has been described as inspiring and
timely as well as having the potential to lead to the maturation of human
society into a genuine planetary family. It has been praised by diplomats,
policy makers, business people, peace activists, theologians and scholars.
Virginia's masters thesis project at the United Nations, Celebration of the
Children of the World, was the inaugural project of the Peacebuilding
Process of Reconciliation.
Virginia also developed a new leadership model to guide the delivery of the
Peacebuilding Process, Reconciliation Leadership. The work has evolved to
address the crisis in leadership and development in the United States and
abroad for post-conflict peacebuilding to provide a inter-cultural and
interdisciplinary approach to global challenges.
The Reconciliation Leadership Certificate Program and the Peacebuilding
Process of Reconciliation are a multi-faceted process and is an exponent of
the new language of international collaboration.
Since 1989, in collaboration with many diverse individuals and groups on
four continents, Swain has developed, taught, and/or facilitated various
aspects and applications of the Reconciliation Leadership process, through:
Organizing reconciling environments and celebrations at various events (e.g.
Celebration of the Children of the World at the United Nations in New York,
The United Nations Conferences: Environment and Development, UN Conference
on Economic and Social Development, Copenhagen 1996, Commission of
Sustainable Development Co-Chair, Financing Agenda 21 Task Force, New York,
1993; International Rio de Janeiro, 1992; Global Liturgy, Parliament of the
Worlds Religions, Chicago, 1993); Utilizing the Peacebuilding Process of
Reconciliation with individuals and groups suffering from abuse of human
rights (e.g. in collaboration with others to establish collaborative
relationships to end violence in the inner city (Buffalo, 1995),
consultation with refugees from the former
Yugoslavia (Boston, 1999 and ongoing), consultation with Rwandan genocide
survivors (New York, 1998, Boston, 1999), training now being implemented in
Rwanda by Rev. Erisa Mutabaazi, mediating with students at Burncoat Senior
High School through a partnership with the Attorney General Tom Reilley and
Worcester Community Action Council Consulting and training since 1986, Swain
has worked with over 250 large and small businesses, non-profits, women's
groups, and religious organizations, promoting community building,
communication, and spiritual
renewal.
Virginia is an active participant in the International Organizing Committee
of the State of the World Forum Millennium 2000, Global Education
Associates, and CIVICUS; World Alliance of Citizen Participation and is a

Deborah DiGiacomo is a dynamic, multidimensional being who has traveled between the realms of the universe carrying the message of peace, love, mercy, justice, freedom and beauty since an early age.
She began her spiritual journey very young. Deborah was blessed to be raised in an extremely rural area of Missouri, in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Mystical events were commonplace and acceptance of them was fostered by her maternal Grandparents and Great Grandmother. She grew up knowing that divining water, having ethereal visits from ancestors and dream walking were a part of her lineage and future. With the traditions and bloodlines of the Blackfoot Tribe, Celtic Irish and Sicilian Wanderers, her exposure to the esoteric was profound.
Deborah's ability to blend into the web of light which surrounds all matter, to surrender to the Divine and carry within her the profound Spirit of Guidance has upheld her throughout her life.
It was this guidance that recently led Deborah to the beginning of a new life, in a distant country, thousands of miles away from the home, culture, and comfort of her daily work as a nurse midwife.
Thus it came to pass, that she and her family followed the path to Vilcabamba, Ecuador. Spiritually guided and in deep surrender to the place, people and climate, they were led to create a substance farm on 12 acres of beautiful sacred land. The land's ancient name of Salvaje remains as it has for over 300 years.
Deborah shares her courageous and mystical adventure in seminars, and retreats. At a crucial time in the world's evolution, her mission is to help other Edgewalkers embrace their strengths and guidance to step off the ledge into their next spirit-guided journey.
